Our actual lens preparation and finishing process

We use seven different sanding grits on each of the two headlights. The progression matters: preparation is part of the restoration, not just a step before applying a shiny finish.

Our working materials include glass cleaner, microfiber wipes, lens-preparation wipes, UV-protectant clear-coat wipes, high-quality tape, polishing compound, and shop towels. The condition of the lenses determines the difficulty of the job.

  • Assess lens condition and protect surrounding areas with high-quality tape.
  • Work through seven different sanding grits on each of the two headlights.
  • Use glass cleaner, microfiber wipes, shop towels, and polishing compound during preparation and refinement.
  • Finish with lens-preparation wipes and UV-protectant clear-coat wipes.

Allow about two hours—not a guaranteed finishing time

An average headlight restoration job takes about two hours. Heavier deterioration and more difficult lenses can take longer. We will discuss the likely work and timing after reviewing your vehicle details and photos.

Plan a parking location where we can work safely around the front of your vehicle. If the car is at an apartment, workplace, or shared parking area, confirm that the owner allows the work before scheduling.

What restoration can and cannot fix

The service is aimed at deterioration on the outside of the lens. We are unable to remove cracks that go all the way through the headlight. In many cases, surface cracks can be addressed, but the depth and lens condition need to be checked.

Moisture inside a housing, electrical faults, and broken parts are not the same problem as a weathered outer lens. Tell us about these issues before booking so the quote does not assume sanding will solve them.

Warranty, aftercare, and your free quote

Headlight restoration includes a 2-year warranty. Your finish's appearance over time also depends on exposure, original lens condition, and care. Ask for the warranty details and product-specific aftercare instructions at handover.

For a quote, text your vehicle make and model, clear photos of both headlights, your town, and your preferred day. We are open 10 a.m.–6 p.m. every day, including weekends. A free car air freshener is included with headlight restoration.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

How long does headlight restoration take?
A headlight restoration job averages about two hours. The actual time depends on the condition of the headlights and how difficult they are to restore. Send photos with your vehicle make and model for a more specific estimate.
Where should I park for a mobile appointment?
Choose a safe, legal parking spot with room for us to work around the front of the vehicle. A driveway or a parking area where the property owner permits the work is a good starting point. Text the address and parking details so we can confirm the setup before the visit.
How long does the restoration last?
Headlight restoration includes a 2-year warranty. That is the warranty period, not a promise that every lens will age at exactly the same rate. Exposure, lens condition, and aftercare affect how the finish holds up.
Do you take cash or card?
Yes. The booking form lists cash and debit/credit card as payment options. Let us know your preferred payment method when requesting a quote.
